Horry County police investigate a shooting death in the Conway area
Horry County police are investigating a shooting death Tuesday morning.
The shooting was reported around 1 a.m. on Ida Lane outside of Conway. Patrol officers, detectives, CSI and K-9 teams were called to help in the investigation.
One person died in the shooting, and the Horry County Coroner’s Office has not identified the victim.
Police have not released any suspect information.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call police at 843-915-8477.
Several people at the home on Tuesday morning declined to talk about the shooting. Yellow police tape lay on the ground around the property and the small home.
