Victim falls from Myrtle Beach motel balcony after stabbing, report says

A victim fell from a Myrtle Beach motel’s balcony after being stabbed, according to a police report.

Myrtle Beach police officers went to the Lazy G Motel and Apartments, 405 27th Ave. N., around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday after a man fell off a balcony.

When officers arrived, witnesses started to shout that the victim was bleeding, and police learned he was stabbed, according to the report.

The victim was stabbed in the torso and was taken to the hospital, the report states.

Myrtle Beach arrested and charged Bobby Rusha Mitchell, 32, with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime in connection to the case. He is being held in Myrtle Beach jail without bond.

Mitchell faces more than 30 years in prison if convicted.
