Update: Arrest made after ‘life-threatening’ injuries suffered in Myrtle Beach stabbing

One person has “life-threatening” injuries after an overnight stabbing in Myrtle Beach.

Officers went to the 1700 block of Greens Blvd. around midnight Wednesday for the reported stabbing. Myrtle Beach police Cpl. Thomas Vest said the victim’s injuries required immediate medical attention.

The victim went to the hospital after the stabbing.

Officers detained one person at the scene, Vest said. Later on Wednesday, police identified the suspect as Raheem Campbell, 23, who was charged with attempted murder.

Campbell faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted.
