Brothers from Longs identified as victims in fatal shooting near S.C. Highway 90

The Horry County Coroner’s Office has identified the victims of Saturday morning’s fatal shooting near S.C. 90 as a pair of brothers from Longs.

Tavon Marquel Livingston, 26, and Shamon Dayvon Livingston, 25, died from gunshot wounds sustained in the shooting, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Michelle McSpadden.

A third person was injured in the shooting, according to Horry County police spokeswoman Mikayla Moskov. The incident was reported around 3 a.m. Saturday.

Officers and detectives were near Highway 90 and Melissa Lane in the Wampee area for the incident, according to the department. Police closed S.C. 90 to traffic in both directions as they investigated.
