Police arrest 14 people on prostitution-related charges in Myrtle Beach, Horry County
More than a dozen people were arrested in Myrtle Beach and Horry County and accused of prostitution in recent days.
Myrtle Beach police charged ten people on Thursday in connection to prostitution. Myrtle Beach police Cpl. Thomas Vest said the arrests were part of a planned operation in the area of 28th Avenue South and South Kings Highway.
Those charged in connection to the Myrtle Beach case were:
- Kristine Reynolds, 30, with second-offense prostitution.
- Brandi Mertens, 22, with second-offense prostitution.
- Shawna Dills, 34, with prostitution.
- Jacqueline Davila, 41, with prostitution.
- Nichole Getman, 34, with prostitution.
- Kenneth Richards, 69, with prostitution.
- William Xochihua, 44, with loitering for a harmful purpose.
- Dawn Poston, 21, with loitering and possession with intent to deliver meth.
- Denardo Morgan, 19, loitering and possession with intent to deliver meth and possession of cocaine. (His mugshots was not available)
- Barbaro Vazquez, 25, with loitering and possession with intent to deliver meth.
Horry County police arrested four people in recent days for prostitution, according to J. Reuben Long Detention Center records. Police officials could not provide police reports for those arrested in time for this report. All the suspects were booked into jail on Thursday or Friday.
Those charged with prostitution by Horry County police were:
- Tracy Allen Knox, 50.
- Cynthia Davis, 32.
- Tyler Allen Peplinski, 26.
- Avi Tal, 47.
