One person injured in shooting near CCU, Horry County police investigating
One person was injured in a shooting near Coastal Carolina University on Wednesday night.
The shooting happened around 11 p.m. near the Coastal Villa Apartments, according to Horry County police. The complex is off S.C. 544 and south of Conway.
The victim went to the hospital, and the extent of their injuries is unknown.
Horry County police are investigating the shooting, and anyone with information is asked to contact 843-248-1520.
