She threw a lamp at a man and now faces the most serious domestic violence charge
A woman threw a lamp and threatened a man while wielding two knives, according to an arrest report.
Myrtle Beach police arrested the woman, Tasha Deirdre Foushee, 50, and charged her with domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature. That is the most serious domestic violence charge punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
On Monday, police went to a Myrtle Beach address for a domestic violence incident. The exact address of the incident is redacted from the warrant, but Foushee was arrested at a Wildwood Dunes Trail address early Tuesday.
Foushee told police she got in an argument with a man, according to an arrest warrant. The victim and Foushee were in a relationship and lived together, police say.
Security footage showed Foushee throwing a lamp at the victim, the warrant states. She then approached the victim with knives in each hand and swung the weapons. The man said he was afraid that Fourshee was going to cut him.
