Update: Barricade incident in Conway area home ends peacefully, police say

Update: Police reported around 6:30 p.m. that the incident ended peacefully with no injuries.

Conway police are on scene with a barricaded subject.

As of 5 p.m., the department asked people to avoid the area of Sessions Street between 16th Avenue and 17th Avenue. Its unknown if anyone is injured in the incident.Several police officers are in the area and a Horry County SWAT team is also at the scene.

The department has not released what led to the standoff.

Some neighbors have also gathered outside to see the scene unfold.
