1 hurt, 1 in custody after reported stabbing in Myrtle Beach
Update: Myrtle Beach police charged Christian Reeves Martin, 27, with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime in connection to the incident.
One person went to the hospital Tuesday after a reported stabbing on Mr. Joe White Avenue in Myrtle Beach.
Myrtle Beach police Cpl. Thomas Vest said officers have one person in custody in connection to the incident. Officers responded to a reported mid-day assault near the 1400 block of Mr. Joe White Avenue.
Vest said one person was stabbed and taken to the hospital.
Police are investigating the scene and not have released the identity of the potential suspect taken into custody.
