At least one person injured in shooting in Conway
At least one person was injured in a shooting in Conway on Friday night and police are investigating, according to City of Conway spokeswoman Taylor Newell.
Police responded to the area around McCray Alley a little after 6:30 p.m. for the report of shots fired, Newell said. Officers found a victim with a gunshot wound whose status is unknown as they’re being treated.
There is still a heavy police presence in the area as officers continue to investigate. Newell said police have yet to gather information on any suspects in connection with the shooting.
McCray Alley is off U.S. 378 a little south of U.S. 501.
