Report: He said he picked her up to have sex. Myrtle Beach police cuffed them both

Two people face prostitution-related charges after officers say they found the duo in a car, and the man said “he just wanted to have sex,” according to a police report.

On Sunday, Myrtle Beach authorities stopped a car on 6th Avenue North and Chester Street for a traffic violation, the report states.

John David Wasse was driving the car and said he was looking for a hotel for himself and his girlfriend, Stacy Lorraine Eubanks, the report states. An officer asked, Wasse to step out of the car and again asked about his relationship with Eubanks. Wasse then said he didn’t know Eubanks and met her at a gas station.

He said he picked her up because “I just wanted to have sex,” the report states.

Wasse said he planned on paying Eubanks for sex, but the two had not agreed to an amount. Eubanks told police a similar account of the events, authorities said.

When officers searched the car, they found a “crack-rock like substance” near Wasse’s seat, as well as a condom and $18, the report states.

Authorities ticketed Wasse for faulty equipment, unlawful turn and loitering for prostitution. Officers also planned to charge Wasse with possession of methamphetamine. Eubanks was charged with loitering for prostitution.
