Myrtle Beach police have released the identity of a man charged in connection with the stabbing of two people at an Ocean Boulevard hotel.
Crisanto Raygoza, 18, whose hometown was not listed, was arrested Thursday and charged with attempted murder, second-degree assault and battery, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, according to jail records.
He was being held at the Myrtle Beach Jail Friday morning and was awaiting a bond hearing.
Officers were called about 11:25 a.m. Thursday to the Diplomat Motel at 608 N. Ocean Blvd. and found two victims had been stabbed, authorities said.
An initial investigation showed the incident stemmed from a family dispute; however, the police report containing the circumstances was unavailable on Friday morning.
