DC Police: 19-year-old CCU student died after taking drug ‘Molly’


Police say a Virginia woman celebrating her 19th birthday at a concert venue in Washington D.C. has died after taking the drug "Molly."

Victoria Callahan, of Sterling, Virginia, was a sophomore marine biology major at Coastal Carolina University.

She was taken from Ecostage to a hospital early Thursday morning.

Police say Callahan reported feeling sick, and that she was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

A police report says she was under the influence of Molly.

MedStar Washington Hospital Center confirmed that she died Thursday.
