Galivants Ferry man facing 10 years in prison distributed child porn, police say

A Galivants Ferry man is facing charges for allegedly distributing child pornography.

Police arrested Wesley Shane Lewis, 26, on Wednesday and charged him with one count of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, according to a news release from the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.

The charge carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.

Lewis was released to home detention, according to online records at J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
