Two people stabbed at Myrtle Beach hotel; police investigating

Myrtle Beach police are on the scene at The Diplomat Motel after two people were stabbed, according to Lt. Joey Crosby with Myrtle Beach police.

Police responded to the hotel around 11:25 a.m. Thursday where two victims were stabbed.

The victims were taken to the hospital, but their conditions are unknown, Crosby said.

Police have one person in custody. Once warrants have been served, police will release the name and charges of the person in custody, Crosby said.

From the initial investigation, Crosby said police believe this incident stemmed from a family dispute.

The Diplomat is located at 608 N. Ocean Blvd. in Myrtle Beach.
