Myrtle Beach police and fire responded to a possible gas leak at the Target store on Seaboard Street.
Around 8:25 p.m. Sunday, shoppers and employees began complaining of watery eyes and coughing.
Shoppers and employees were asked to evacuate, while police were called.
According to the police report, the surveillance tape does not show anything suspicious taking place prior to the incident.
At this time, the cause of the odor is unknown.
