Motorcyclist dies after crash with car in Conway

A motorcyclist died Sunday following a crash with a car in Conway.

James Robert Anderson, 37, was killed following the crash that happened Saturday about 10:50 p.m.

According to Darris Fowler, Deputy Coroner for Horry County, Anderson failed to stop for a car that slowed down to make a turn off of Cates Bay Highway. Anderson crashed into the car, he was not wearing a helmet.

Anderson was taken to Grand Strand by Med Flight. Anderson died Sunday at 3:50 p.m.

Anderson was from Hampton, Virginia, but was living in Conway.
