Two men were arrested Wednesday and police are searching for another man after a woman reported she was raped to Myrtle Beach police, authorities said.
Brandon Adam Fitzgerald, 21, was charged with kidnapping and first-degree criminal sexual conduct, according to jail records.
Thomas Tyller Lambert, 21, was also charged with kidnapping and first-degree criminal sexual conduct in connection with the case.
Both men are being held at the Myrtle Beach Jail and are awaiting bond hearings, according to jail records.
Officers were called about 5 p.m. May 17 to a home along 16th Avenue South where a 19-year-old man told police his female roommate had been assaulted, authorities said.
The man told police he came home and saw three men running out of his home, and when he went to check on the victim, whose age was not listed in the police report, he said she told him she had been assaulted.
Police spoke with the victim who also told them she was assaulted and needed emergency medical services. The victim was taken to a local hospital, and detectives interviewed her there.
Myrtle Beach crime scene investigators also went to the home and looked for evidence, according to the report.
Fitzgerald and Lambert are the second and third men to be arrested and charged this week with criminal sexual conduct.
Jake Cacciolfi, 21, of Conway, was arrested Tuesday and charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct after a woman told Horry County police she was raped. Bond had not been set for Cacciolfi as of Thursday morning.
