A Myrtle Beach man was arrested on a drug charge after a 25-year-old woman told police he came to her house upset about being robbed and then held a gun to her head and refused to let her leave the home, according to a police report.
Shawn Patrick Leggette, 35, was charged with manufacturing, distribution of cocaine early Monday, according to Myrtle Beach Jail records. Leggette was taken into custody in the 600 block of Secondary Highway 15.
Leggette was listed as the suspect in the report filed by the woman at 12:15 a.m. Sunday at 409 16th Ave., S., police said.
The victim said she knew Leggette by his street name, Reality, and that he came to her home and was upset that he was robbed late Saturday, according to the report. The victim said waited in her house for the alleged robbers to return because before the robbery everyone was at her home in the Shell Cove Mobile Home Park.
The victim said Leggette made her stay in the house when she tried to leave and held a gun to her head and told her she was not going anywhere, according to the report.
In the report Leggette filed about being robbed, he told officers that about 9:15 p.m. Saturday he was at the woman’s house when he met three men and they went back to his house. Leggette said one of the men followed him into his bedroom and when he told him not be in there the man pulled out a handgun.
Leggettte told officers that the man took $60 cash from him, broke a beer bottle on him and punched him in the face, according to the report. Leggette took the men to his house to get marijuana and smoke it.
