South Carolina trooper injured in Myrtle Beach motorcycle accident

A South Carolina State Trooper was injured in a motorcycle accident about 2 p.m. Sunday, according to a news release from the Joint Incident Command.

The 50-year-old trooper from Rock Hill was going west on Harrelson Boulevard when he lost control of his motorcycle and landed on the shoulder of the road.

The trooper was transported to Grand Strand Hospital. No information was available immediately on his condition or the details of the crash.
