Money appeared to be falling from a Myrtle Beach balcony, but looks can be deceiving
Money appeared to be falling into the pool area at the Landmark Resort between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday.
However, it turns out it was counterfeit, according to a police report.
A witness collected several bills, ranging from five to twenty, that came from a balcony above the pool.
According to the police report, multiple bills had the same serial numbers and the paper was not consistent with paper in real money.
Police questioned a woman at the hotel, but no arrests have been made.
