Missing Conway elderly man found

A missing 80-year-old, Conway man is now at home, according to Sgt. Darren Alston with Conway Police.

James Augustus Smith was last seen leaving his home about 10 a.m. on May 16, traveling in a dark blue, 2013 Chrysler Town and Country mini-van. He was known to travel to New York, but usually returned to Conway within a day or two.

There was concern about his well-being. Authorities said he may be suffering from the early stages of dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
