Authorities arrested a Longs man after he fired several shots at an occupied car, according to an Horry County police news release.

Teddrick Livingston, 24, was charged with attempted murder, the release said.

The shooting happened around 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Plantation Drive area of Longs. One of the victims told police he was riding with three friends when Livingston pulled up in a gold Chevy truck.

The group knew Livingston because one of the men had children with Livingston’s girlfriend, according to a police report.

Livingston opened fire, striking the driver’s side door, the release said. No one was injured in the shooting.

Livingston was arrested and taken to the county jail.
