Myrtle Beach police investigate teen being robbed of cash
An 18-year-old man told Myrtle Beach police he was robbed by another man of cash, according to a police report.
Officers were called at 10:30 p.m. Thursday to the 1400 block of South Kings Highway where the victim reported the incident, police said.
The victim, who spoke little English and is from Russia, told police that he was robbed in the area of 12th Avenue South and Yaupon Drive, according to the report. The victim said a man walked up to him, grabbed him and took his money.
Officers noted the victim was frightened and was unable to provide any other details, according to the report. The victim declined any medical attention and it was unclear from the report if the victim was hurt.
No other information was listed in the report.
