Georgetown authorities searching for two suspects following armed robbery at Litchfield-area restaurant

Georgetown authorities are searching for two men following an armed robbery that occurred Wednesday night at Moe’s Original Bar B Que in the Litchfield community.

At about 9:15 p.m., two men walked into Moe’s Original Bar B Que at 12827 Ocean Hwy., brandished handguns, and demanded money from employees, according to Carrie Cuthbertson, spokesperson with the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office.

The suspects then ran from the store in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash, and no one was injured during the robbery, Cuthbertson said.

Anyone who has any information on the identity of the suspects or any information about the robbery is asked to contact the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office at 546-5101.
