HCPD investigating after body found in backyard of home off S.C. 707
No foul play is suspected after a body was found in the backyard of a home off S.C. 707 on Friday afternoon, according to Horry County Police.
Horry County Police Capt. John Harrelson said there was no foul play suspected in the death at a Reef Road home. At about 1:10 p.m., officers responded to the 700 block for the body.
The police department's Criminal Investigations Division was also on scene.
A white sheet hung between two buildings and blocked the view of the backyard from the public. Police cruisers also blocked part of Reef Road to restrict access.
Several neighbors said they didn't know the victim nor what happened. One local said the people who lived in the home in question recently moved in.
