Virginia teen killed in Myrtle Beach motorcycle crash

A 19-year-old Virginia man died early Monday when he was involved in a motorcycle crash in the Myrtle Beach area, according to authorities.

Stephen Agnew Jr., 19, of Farmville, Va., was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash from injuries he suffered when his sport motorcycle crashed into another motorcycle, Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard said.

The crash happened just after midnight Monday at 3101 S. Kings Highway, which is near the front gate of the former Air Force base, Willard said. Agnew was operating one of the motorcycles involved in the crash.

Additional details about the crash, the other driver and Agnew were not immediately available.
