Police respond after man assaulted by biker at restaurant
Myrtle Beach police were called to a fast food restaurant after a biker struck a man, following an argument involving a woman, who was with him, sleeping at the location, according to a police report.
Officers were called about 4 p.m. Friday to McDonald’s at 2200 N. Kings Hwy. where a 31-year-old man and a woman, whose age was not available, reported the incident.
The female witness told police she and a female suspect got into an argument about the suspect sleeping at the restaurant, police said.
The victim heard the argument and asked the witness what was going on, and a man hit him in the shoulder, authorities said.
The male and female suspects both left together on a motorcycle with a North Carolina license plate, according to the report.
Police said they were in the process of obtaining security footage of the incident at the time of the report.
No arrests had been made in connection with the incident as of Saturday morning.
