Woman reports stroller containing wallet stolen from Broadway at the Beach

A woman reported to police that her stroller, containing a diaper bag and her wallet, was stolen from Broadway at the Beach while she was playing with her kids, police said.

Myrtle Beach officers were called about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday to Broadway at the Beach where a 33-year-old woman reported the incident.

The victim told police she was playing with her children for a few minutes when she noticed her stroller had been stolen, authorities said.

The victim said the stroller was valued at $60 and her diaper bag was valued at $40. She said her wallet, valued at $200, was in the diaper bag and contained her debit card, credit card, and $100 cash, according to the report.

The victim said she called Broadway at the Beach security and called her bank and credit card company.

No arrests had been made in connection with the alleged theft as of Thursday morning.
