Man reports motorcycle stolen from hotel parking garage

A tourist reported to Myrtle Beach police that his motorcycle was stolen from the hotel parking garage where he left it, authorities said.

Police were called about 5 a.m. Sunday to the Landmark parking garage at 1502 S. Ocean Blvd. where a 30-year-old victim reported the incident.

The victim told police that he parked his 2007 Honda motorcycle at the Landmark parking garage on level five about 11:30 p.m. Saturday and when he went back to the garage about 4:30 a.m. Sunday, his bike was missing, authorities said.

The victim told police he is visiting from out of town and did not give anyone permission to use his bike.

Police entered the motorcycle’s description into their information systems and listed it as stolen. The victim provided officers with a picture of his motorcycle, which was emailed to other authorities.
