Update: HCPD said Loris man shot and killed Saturday possibly victim of robbery
Horry County police are investigating after a 28-year-old Loris man was shot to death during the early morning hours on Saturday, and police believe he was killed during a home robbery, Lt. Raul Denis, spokesman with Horry County police, said.
Eugene Delong, died as a result of a gunshot wound about 2:45 a.m. on Saturday at his home on Bill Grissett Road, off S.C. 9 in Loris, Michelle McSpadden, deputy coroner with Horry County said.
Denis said it appears that Delong was killed in his home during what police believe was a robbery.
