Little River man charged in Myrtle Beach area shooting at beachwear store
A Little River man is being held on $10,000 bond after he was charged with attempted murder in a shooting at a Myrtle Beach area beachwear store, Horry County police said.
Timothy Darnell Sinclair, 30, was booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center at 8:44 p.m. Saturday on the charge and remains jailed, according to jail records at 3:15 p.m. Monday.
Officers were called about 3:30 p.m. Saturday to the Eagles Beachwear Store at 9711 N. Kings Highway and found that a 41-year-old man had been shot by an acquaintance during an argument, Horry County police Lt. Raul Denis said.
Officers learned that the victim was shot multiple times and the suspect had run toward a nearby drugstore parking lot, according to the police report. The victim was taken to Grand Strand Medical Center for treatment.
Officers tracked the suspect and identified him as Sinclair, Denis said. He was taken into custody in the Atlantic Beach area.
