Punch at Broadway at the Beach bar leads to arrest of two

A bar fight at Broadway at the Beach lead to the arrest of both the suspect and the victim.

Joshua Della Valle, 22, and Joshua Michael Barcombs, 36, were arrested about 2 a.m. Monday and taken to the Myrtle Beach Jail.

According to the police report, Barcombs told police that he witnessed Valle messing with another man and woman, when he stepped in to say something to Valle, he was punched.

The report says that security footage shows Valle punching Barcombs.

Police say Barcombs was “very uncooperative” when questioned about the incident.

The police report says that as officers were placing Valle in handcuffs, Barcombs began cursing at Valle, trying to get a reaction from him, even telling Valle that he would “rape his sister.”

After placing Valle under arrest for assault and battery, police arrested Barcombs for disorderly conduct.
