Police investigate sexual exposure reports at local stores

Myrtle Beach police are investigating two reports of sexual exposure inside local Wal-Marts.

A shopper at the Seaboard Street location reported to police that while in the cosmetics aisle Saturday morning around 7:50, a man was exposing himself and performing a sexual act.

According to the police report, as the woman shopped, the man was in the same aisle as her. She stated that she did not realize what he was doing until he turned toward her, exposing himself.

The police report says that the two exchanged words and the suspect fled in a sage colored SUV.

A similar incident was reported to police earlier Saturday at the Wal-Mart in Carolina Forest.

According to the police report, the suspect matches the same description in both incidents.

Police are looking for a black man who was wearing a ball cap with the letter C on it, an orange shirt and dark jeans, according to the police report.
