Police looking for missing Conway woman
Conway police were contacted Friday about a 54-year-old woman, who family members said has been missing for about a week, according Lt. Selena Smalls with the Conway Police Department.
Officers were told that Veola Jackson of Conway has not been seen since April 24, when she was dropped off at the Coast RTA in Conway to travel to Georgia, police said.
Jackson’s family told authorities she never made it to Georgia and has not been heard from since she was dropped off at the bus station.
She was last seen wearing white jeans and a white top, and one leg of the jeans was torn, like it was purchased that way. She was also carrying a small suitcase, police said.
Authorities said Jackson is about 5.1 feet tall and weighs about 130 pounds.
Anyone with any information on Jackson’s location or has come in contact with her is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency or Conway Police Department at 248-1790.
