Police investigating bomb threat at Surfside Walmart

The Walmart on Beaver Run Boulevard in Surfside Beach is closed Tuesday afternoon while police search for a bomb, according to a tweet from Horry County police.

The tweet, which was sent around 1:50 p.m., reads: “Temporary closing of Surfside Walmart for bomb call until search can be completed.”
