Police respond to man robbed at gunpoint
A man told Myrtle Beach police he was robbed at gunpoint Monday afternoon in the alleyway of a Kings Highway store, authorities said.
Officers were called about 12:30 p.m. Monday to a store at 1104 N. Kings Highway where a 47-year-old man reported the incident, police said.
The victim said he was walking in the alleyway when the suspect came up to him and said, “Can I ask you a question,” according to the police report.
The victim said the alleged robber then pulled a gun from his waistband area and said, “Give me all your money,” according to the report.
The victim said he told the gunman no, and the gunman then loaded the gun, pointed it at the victim’s head, and demanded all his money again, police said.
The victim told police he reached into his back pocket and gave the man all his money, authorities said.
The suspect then headed south toward a parking garage.
No arrests had been made in connection with the incident as of 10 a.m. Tuesday.
