Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with the burglary of a Murrells Inlet liquor store.

Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called about 3 a.m. Friday when an alarm went off at Murrells Inlet Liquors at 764 Mink Ave.

When deputies arrived, they noticed the front door glass was broken and several bottles of liquor had been taken, according to Carrie Cuthbertson, spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office.

Cuthbertson said the suspect may be driving a dark-colored vehicle.

Anyone who can identify the individual in a surveillance photo released by the sheriff’s office, or who has any information on this incident, is asked to contact the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office at 546-5101.
