Horry County police seize hundreds of grams of drugs, assault rifles and more
The Horry County Police Department confiscated hundreds of grams of illicit drugs, a stolen assault rifle, several handguns and over $1,500 in cash, according to a tweet from the department.
Police say the following items were seized:
- 161 doses of ecstasy
- 136 grams of methamphetamine
- 120 grams of marijuana
- Three assault rifles, including one which was stolen
- Six handguns
- $1,554 in cash

Three people have been arrested and charged in connection with the bust.
According to authorities, 37-year-old Selton Bogar, of Myrtle Beach, is facing the following charges:
- Two counts of trafficking methamphetamine
- Trafficking ecstasy
- Possession with intent to distribute marijuana
- Possession with intent to distribute a Schedule II drug
- Possession with intent to distribute a Schedule IV drug
- Two firearm charges
Police charged Christal Jalease Bryant with:
- Possession with intent to distribute marijuana
- Possession with intent to distribute a Schedule II drug
- Possession with intent to distribute a Schedule IV drug
- Trafficking ecstasy
Jonathan Clevering is also charged with trafficking methamphetamine.
Both Bogar and Clevering are currently being held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center and Bryant is being held at Ted C. Collins Law Enforcement Center, according to authorities.
