Police investigating gunfire near a home on Blain Lane
A woman in a home on Blain Lane told police she dropped to the floor when she started hearing gunshots outside and some of the bullets possibly entering her home.
Horry County police were called to the Conway-area home around 12:23 a.m. Wednesday in reference to a shots fired complaint.
A woman in the home told officers that she heard a “commotion outside which sounded like two parties struggling” and then heard gunshots.
The woman said she got on the floor and called 911.
The woman told police that she thought someone may have also tried to enter her home through a bedroom window.
“Inside the residence, multiple holes due to possible gunfire were located ... (in) hallway walls, bedroom walls and (a) bedroom ceiling,” police noted in an incident report.
Multiple shell casings were found outside of the home, police said.
No suspects were found on scene, according to the report. The shooting remains under investigation.
