Christmas presents beneath a tree inside an Aynor-area home were ripped open, and other items were taken during a break-in reported Thursday afternoon, according to an Horry County police report.
Officers were called about 5 p.m. to a house on Jordanville Road, off U.S. 501, where a 30-year-old man reported a home burglary.
A back window looked like it had been smashed, and police noted “all of the presents under the victim’s Christmas tree had been torn open and plundered through.”
Other areas of the home were also ransacked. The man went through his house and reported several items were missing.
