He allegedly stole a security camera, but footage from the same camera caught him
The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who allegedly stole a security camera from a home in Murrells Inlet, but video recorded from that same camera caught him, according to authorities.
The sheriff’s office said video was recorded to a hard drive before the man saw the security camera, unplugged it then took it.
It was stolen on Dec. 4, and is described as a white Nest Outdoor Camera valued at $200.
If you recognize the man in the photograph, police ask that you please contact the sheriff’s office at 843-546-5102 or text a tip at 274637 and enter the word “GCSOTIP.”
