Security officer shoots at car moving towards him, police say
A security guard said he fired at a car after it drove toward him early Wednesday morning, according to Capt. Joey Crosby with the Myrtle Beach Police Department.
Crosby said officers arrived at Quail Marsh Apartments, at 2005 Greens Boulevard, around 1 a.m. and determined the security officer with Platinum Security had fired his weapon at the tire of the moving vehicle.
No one was hurt during the incident, Crosby added.
The shooting incident is still under investigation by Myrtle Beach police. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division will also investigate the incident.
