Five arrested on prostitution charges in Myrtle Beach in undercover sting

Five people were arrested on prostitution charges late Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning as police conducted an undercover sting operation, according to Myrtle Beach police records.

Myrtle Beach Jail records show those arrested on the charge of prostitution, first offense were:

Crystal Dawn Gentry, 36, arrested about 2:05 a.m. Wednesday along the 400 block of 2nd Ave South and South Kings Highway

Lindsey Barnes Delacruz, 24, about 1:35 a.m. on the 300 block of 7th Ave North and York Street

Michelle Renee Rowan, 25, arrested about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday along the 2200 block of South Ocean Boulevard

Devante Dequan Grant, 25, arrested about 10 p.m. along the 400 block of 16th Avenue South and South Kings Highway

Kaywhyne Kenyatta Seawood, 23, was charged with loitering for the purposes of prostitution, records show.

Police reports outlining the details of the arrests were not immediately available. Capt. Joey Crosby, spokesman with Myrtle Beach police, confirmed the arrests stemmed from an undercover sting operation.
