Robbery victim runs from police after they discover he’s wanted, cops say
A man reporting a robbery Monday night broke into a run after Myrtle Beach authorities discovered he was wanted, police said.
Javonta McFadden told officers he was robbed of $60 and a Victoria’s Secret-brand gym bag while he was sitting in his car, according to Capt. Joey Crosby, spokesman with Myrtle Beach police. During the investigation, police found out he had an active arrest warrant, Crosby said.
Police said McFadden was wanted out of Williamsburg County in connection with receiving stolen goods.
