Horry County spent hour searching for 4-year-old boy in Carolina Forest area

Horry County authorities spent about an hour searching for a 4-year-old boy, who was last seen about 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Carolina Forest area, officials said.

At 2 p.m., Horry County police Lt. Raul Denis said the boy had been located. It was unclear where the boy was found or what his condition was at that time.

Police and emergency officials were called to the area of Heathrow Drive, which is off of Augusta Plantation Drive off River Oaks Drive, for the incident, Denis said.
