Conway police searching for larceny suspect

Conway police are searching for a man in connection with larceny from The Trestle.

Police responded to The Trestle, located at 322 Main Street in Conway, on Friday after a cashier said the suspect came into the store and purchased a small-priced item and paid with a $50 bill.

The cashier gave the suspect change and he immediately began to ask for different denominations of currency, police said. The cashier returned the original $50 bill and the subject immediately departed with the change from the initial transaction, police said.

The suspect is described at in his 50s, about 6 ft. tall and 170 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 248-1790.
