She went into the mall to see a movie. When she came out her car was gone
A 60-year-old woman went to see a movie at Coastal Grand Mall Halloween night, and when she came back out, her vehicle was gone, according to a police report.
The woman talked to Myrtle Beach police about 9:30 p.m. and told them she parked near the mall’s food court entrance, went inside to see a movie, and when she returned to the parking lot, her vehicle was gone, the report states.
She told officers she may have left it unlocked, and police said they didn’t see any broken glass on the ground where the vehicle was parked.
She said only herself and her husband have keys to the missing 2011 GMC Yukon, and there was no reason the vehicle should be towed.
Police entered the SUV into their information systems as stolen.
