Maryland Fried Chicken robbed on Halloween night, police investigating
Myrtle Beach police are investigating after a suspect reportedly entered Maryland Fried Chicken and demanded money at gunpoint Tuesday night, according to Capt. Joey Crosby.
Police responded to the restaurant, located at 939 N. Kings Highway, around 7:40 p.m., an incident report says.
Crosby said after the suspect went inside the restaurant, he pointed a handgun at the victim demanding money.
After the victim gave the suspect cash, he fled the area in a maroon-colored “older model van,” according to Crosby.
Police say the suspect stole $200 and is described in the report as a white male.
MBPD continues to investigate.
