Pedestrian killed in weekend crash near Conway
A pedestrian was struck and killed early Saturday morning in a crash on U.S. 701.
The crash happened about 12:30 a.m. near the Conway area, according to Cpl. Sonny Collins with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
A 2012 Toyato was traveling south on U.S. 701 when the driver struck a pedestrian, who was in the roadway illegally, Collins said.
He said no charges will be filed against the driver.
